GAS POWERED LIFT TRUCK MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
 

Every 100 Hours

  • Engine crankcase - Drain and fill 

  • Engine breather - Clean or replace 

  • Engine oil filter - Replace filter element

  • Fan and generator belts - Inspect and adjust 

  • Generator - Lubricate 

  • Starter - Lubricate 

  • Fan pulley - Lubricate 

  • Water pump - Lubricate 

  • Steering gear - Check lubricant 

  • Battery - Check fluid level, connections, and take hydrometer reading 

  • Fluid coupling - Check fluid level 

  • Lift and tilt cylinders - Check for drift and leaks. Look at mountings 

  • Control linkage - Inspect and lubricate 

  • Hydraulic sump tank breather - Clean or replace 

  • Governor slip tube - Lubricate 

  • Transmission - Check oil level 

  • Transmission and converter - Check oil level 

  • Drop gear case - Verify level 

  • Differential - Check lubricant level 

  • Drive axle air vent - Service and clean 

  • Axle ends - Lubricate 

  • Axle end air vent - Service and clean 

  • Fuel lines and cap - Inspect 

  • Suspension - Check mountings 

  • Clutch pedal adjustment - Check and adjust 

  • Brake pedal - Adjust free travel 

  • Brake system - Verify fluid level. Check cap vent hole 

  • Steer valve and pump - Check for leakage 

  • Hydraulic control valve and lines - Inspect 

  • Lift bracket and piston head guides - Inspect and lubricate, check for wear 

Every 1000 Hours

  • Complete engine tune-up 

  • Fuel pump - check for proper operation

  • Fuel pump strainer - Disassemble and clean

  • Fuel sediment bowl - Clean 

  • Standard transmission - Make pressure check

  • Fluid coupling - Drain and refill

  • Automatic transmission - Make pressure check

  • Generator - Check brush spring tension, replace if worn. Check commutator

  • Voltage regular - Check 

  • Differential - Drain and refill

  • Steer wheel bearings - Adjust, clean and repack

  • Brake system - Test, bleed and fill reservoir

  • Hand brake - Test

  • Cooling system - Flush system, check and refill

  • Steer system - check hydraulic pressures

  • Main hydraulic system - Check pressures

  • Drop gear case - Drain and refill 

  • Starting motor - Check brushes and for dirty commutator 

  • Hydraulic sump tanks - Drain and refill
